Becoming mindful takes work. It's not easy to adopt a mindful attitude when we are constantly being tested, triggered, stressed out! I believe the best way to be mindful is to start a formal meditation practice.

Watch this video to find out why...

Guided Meditations

Need a quick practice to get your mind right?

Try the easy 5 min meditation.

If you want a longer practice that focuses on mindful awareness.

Give this 10 min meditation a go.

A powerful practice that cultivates the mind-body connection.

Body scan is an essential meditation for newbies as well as seasoned meditators. (Hint, try this lying down for further relaxation)

Mountain Meditation

This is a nature-based visualization that focuses on impermanence. While imagining the ever-changing weather patterns a mountain endures, we too can relate to our thoughts and emotions in the same way.

Rain Meditation

If you’re having a difficult moment, whether it is uncomfortable thoughts, emotions, or body sensations, RAIN is a beautiful practice that is meant to create mindful space to allow your experience to be exactly as it is. This is a widely used practice and is the foundation of cultivating acceptance to our reality.

I wanted to share a very simple, quick technique on how to interrupt automatic reactions to stress. Whether you yell, get angry, throw things, blame others, or hold tension in your body, we all have our own patterning when we encounter unpleasant events. This quick video explains the STOP method, a technique to stop the knee-jerk reactions to stress. Doing this every time you are about to freak out will help give you more mindfulness and more choices on how you want to respond.

I judge you, you judge me, we're a judgmental family..... Today's video is about the CYCLE OF JUDGMENT, the step-by-step process of what happens to us when we have a negative judgment about something. The more we understand the pattern, the more control we ultimately have.

Have you ever wondered why people tend to seek out the negative? Why is it that our brains are constantly noticing what goes wrong and not paying that much attention to what goes right? It's called the NEGATIVITY BIAS and today's video explains what it is and how we can teach our brain to start noticing the positive.
